Once again three heats and a final awaited the competitors on Sunday, in the warm Huntingdonshire summer conditions.

Heat 1, Tandy was made to work hard from the penultimate row of the grid, but a determined fight from the Bedfordshire racer saw him overtake each rival he came across, eventually sealing the victory with a last lap pass.
The following two heat races of the event had Felix placed higher up the order on the grid, enabling him to round out the heat stages with another victory in each – his sixth, and then seventh in a row, at the Kimbolton venue.
Starting on pole position for the final the odds looked good. An extremely close fight for the front two positions with kart #57 ensued, and with two laps to go a brave move on the inside saw the 57 kart spinning across the front of Tandy, forcing him to go wide to avoid contact. This led to the third position driver sneaking through on the inside to take the victory, Tandy happy to stay on track and pick up another final podium of the season.
With half the series now completed, Felix sits in a comfortable position atop the points standing. With two rounds enabled to become dropped scores in the final tally, however, a thrilling run in to the season end is almost assured.
