Wasn’t sure after surgery how I’d feel in myself being back racing, and it definitely took me a while to warm up… although Snetterton was already boiling from 8am.
Race 1 — happy to move up a few positions, but still not where I wanted to be.
Race 2 — started P17 and worked my way up to P14 in a good pack with battles, until I got taken out, which ended my race. After parking on the grass, the heat this weekend caused the grass underneath the car to catch fire… and unfortunately the car caught fire too.
That meant we couldn’t make race 3, which was a frustrating way to end the weekend, but we go again! A big thank you to my amazing team , for all their hard work @team_avago & @davidsutton6
